i've been cycling lately along Coro drive and into work and it reminded me of highschool when we used to have a "marathon" that went down all the way to the docks under the start of Elizabeth St. (before the bikeway was built). now, as the bikeway sticks out from the original track, it's reminded me again that i need to bring my camera next time i'm riding down.

the Kurilpa bridge being built at the moment (artist's impression on the link) is quite an eye opener. it's one of those bridges where you love it or hate it. since the bridge is so close to QAG|GoMA it has a great angle that leads into the building across the river, and as it's so well lit at night, it could have some very good shots to come out of it. and i know that Kurilpa isn't finished yet, but i've wanted to do a collection of shots of all the construction work going on around Brisbane at the moment, so this would be a good addition.

anyhoo, that's one subject of the "grand" plan, but finding the time is a little on the downside, especially with a non-photographic-based project about to come to take most of my time.
